Cari amici vicini e lontani, presso il celeberrimo "Vox Club" di Nonantola (MO), Zucchero ha dato appuntamento a tutti i suoi fan per il terzo raduno dello ZUCCHERO OFFICIAL FAN CLUB, un occasione annuale veramente speciale a cui i fan di Zucchero non possono mancare. I primi fan sono arrivati verso le 10.00 del mattino, in netto anticipo sulla tabella di marcia, perché non volevano assolutamente perdersi l'appuntamento più atteso dell'anno. Anno dopo anno, grazie al passaparola, i fan che vi partecipano sono aumentati e all'apertura delle porte che è avvenuta alle 16.00 diverse centinaia di persone sono entrate nel locale, pronte a non perdersi nemmeno un attimo della festa che stava per iniziare. In uno schermo circolare posto alle spalle del palco venivano proiettati, in sequenza, tutti i videoclip di Zucchero, alcuni dei quali inediti in Italia, mentre le varie tribute band si esibivano sul palco centrale. Come ogni anno c'era a disposizione di tutti i partecipanti un ampio buffet con mortadella, formaggio, salame e altre leccornie tipiche reggiane, il tutto innaffiato dall'ottimo vino della cantina di Zucchero. Verso le 18.00 sul palco la prima sorpresa della giornata: la reunion della band "Nuove Luci", il primo complesso musicale con cui Zucchero incise un 45 giri nel lontano 1974, la band composta da 11 elementi con la sezione fiati ha suonato alcuni classici americani soul e rhythm and blues, a metà della loro esibizione Zucchero si è presentato sul palco cantando e facendo casino con il suo vecchio gruppo. Successivamente Zucchero ha voluto presentare il chitarrista Jaime Dolce che con il suo trio ha proposto un repertorio blues riarrangiando anche qualche brano di Zucchero. Dopo l'esibizione del chitarrista è stato il turno di Irene Fornaciari & The Shake Official Tribute Band, durante la performance di Irene, Zucchero è andato tra il pubblico per ascoltare Irene e per firmare autografi ai fan. Verso le 20.30 Zucchero è salito sul palco con la sua band che quest'anno vedeva la presenza di Mario Schilirò, Adriano Molinari e James Thompson, oltre ad alcuni giovani musicisti reclutati per l'occasione. Zucchero ha voluto regalare una serata veramente magica cantando alcuni brani di Miserere. Dopo aver cantanto per circa un ora sono iniziati i bis. Zucchero si è trasformato in un vero e proprio juke box e con la sua band eseguiva tutti i brani che venivano richiesti dai fan. Nel corso delle tre ore passate sul palco ci sono stati diversi simpatici siparietti che vedevano Zucchero e la sua band protagonisti nel raccontare aneddoti capitati durante i vent'anni di collaborazione. Verso mezzanotte Zucchero è sceso dal palco e la festa si è conclusa, all'una Zucchero ha lasciato il locale non senza fermarsi a firmare gli autografi e fare le foto con gli ultimi fan rimasti li ad aspettarlo. |
Dear friends, Zucchero organized his third international fanclub meeting in the famous "Vox Club" in Nonantola (Modena - Italy), a very special yearly appointment that fans just can't miss. The first fans started arriving at 10.00 am, long before the doors would open, because they didn't want to miss any part of the year's most important event. Year after year, thanks to word-of-mouth, the numbers taking part have grown and, when the doors opened at 4.00 pm, several hundred people were waiting to come in. A series of all Zucchero's videoclips, some of which were never released, were shown in a circular maxi-screen behind the stage. There were lots of tribute bands playing in the first part of the party. As always, a large buffet offered mortadella, cheese, salame and other typical local specialities, all offered with Zucchero's very own wine, greeted the fans as they came in, obviously this was all free for the fans. At about 6.00 pm, there was the first surprise: "Nuove Luci's" reunion, this was the first band with which Zucchero recorded a single a long long time ago 1974. Halfway through their performance Zucchero appeared onstage to sing and have fun with his old band. After that, Zucchero presented the guitarist Jaime Dolce who played with his blues trio, rearranging some of Zucchero's songs too. Then, it was Irene Fornaciari & The Shake Official Tribute Band's turn, during Irene's performance, Zucchero went down into the audience to listen to his daughter and sign fan's autographs. At about 8.30 pm, Zucchero came onstage with his band made up of Mario Schilirò, Adriano Molinari and James Thompson, as well as some young musicians recruited for the occasion. Zucchero wanted to give a very special feel to the evening and sang some song of "Miserere". Having sung for over an hour, the "encore" started. Zucchero turned into a real juke box and, along with his band, played everything and anything that the fans requested. During the three hours onstage, there were lots of little intervals were Zucchero and the band told stories and joked about their 20 years together on the road. Around the midnight hour, Zucchero left the stage and the party came to an end, by one o clock Zucchero had left the club after having given the last autographs and photos to the fans that were waiting outside. |
