ZUCCHERO canta per la prima volta da solo la colonna sonora di un film di animazione.

Dopo il successo ed il premio Oscar ottenuto con "Shrek" la Dreamworks presenta SPIRIT CAVALLO SELVAGGIO che uscirà nelle sale italiane dal 20 dicembre.

Uscito negli USA il 24 maggio in 3317 sale ha incassato oltre 80 milioni di dollari.

Nella versione originale la colonna sonora è composta dal premio Oscar Hans Zimmer (Il re leone) e comprende le canzoni di Bryan Adams (tre nomination Oscar e tre al Golden Globe).

Per la versione italiana Zucchero ha inciso le canzoni italiane del film, che ha adattato assieme alla figlia Irene.
Infatti la secondogenita di Zucchero, 19 anni, ha collaborato con il padre per tradurre e adattare all'italiano i testi delle 7 canzoni scritte da Bryan Adams di questo cartoon. "Mi è subito piaciuta la storia di questo cavallo ribelle," ha detto Irene, "e poi io amo molto i cavalli. Mi sono lasciata andare, trasportata dalle immagini del film e dalla sua storia, e le emozioni hanno fatto sì che tutto è diventato facile".

Zucchero: "Conosco Bryan Adams da alcuni anni perchè abbiamo fatto alcuni concerti assieme e poi lui ha cantato una mia canzone. Tra noi è nata una bella amicizia e quando mi ha chiesto, assieme alla Dreamworks, di interpretare le canzoni del film mi ha fatto un gran piacere. Mi sono fatto aiutare da Irene perchè se avessi tradotto io le canzoni avrei rischiato di usare concetti troppo sofisticati e maturi, che mal si adattano al cartone animato. Ma questo cavallo che non accetta recinti e vuole essere libero con tutte le conseguenze del caso lo sento molto vicino".

ZUCCHERO sings a cartoon film soundtrack alone for the first time.

After the success and Oscar award obtained with Shrek, Dreamworks presents SPIRIT CAVALLO SELVAGGIO, which will be released in Italian cinemas from 20 December.

It was released in the USA on 24 May in 3317 cinemas, with takings of more than 80 million dollars.

In the original version the soundtrack was composed by the Oscar award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King) and includes songs by Bryan Adams (three Oscar nominations and three Golden Globes).

Zucchero has recorded the Italian songs for the Italian version of the film, adapting them together with his daughter Irene.

As a matter of fact, Zucchero’s second child, 19 years old, worked together with her father to translate and adapt the lyrics of the 7 songs featured in this cartoon written by Bryan Adams into Italian. "I immediately liked the story of this rebel horse”, says Irene, “and I really love horses anyway. I let my self go, transported by the film’s images and story, and the strong emotions it gave me made everything easy.”

Zucchero: "I’ve known Bryan Adams for a number of years because we’ve done some concerts together and he’s also sung one of my songs. A good friendship developed between us and when he asked me, together with Dreamworks, to interpret the songs myself I would have risked using concepts which are too sophisticated and mature, that is, unsuitable for a cartoon. This horse, however, refuses to be penned in, and wants to be free and to take the consequences. That’s something I can identify with.”
